HI2P provides financial incentives to cover part of the qualifying costs for the proposal.

Qualifying Cost Details
Professional services
a) Professional services may include engagement of consultancy services (e.g. marketing and promotion services, curatorial expertise, exhibition consultancy, feasibility studies, research and content development, etc)
 
Capability upgrading, training and certfication
a) These may include training courses, workshops, seminars, conferences (overseas programmes should not exceed 14 days)
 
Equipment and material costs
a) These may include installation and fabrication costs for exhibitions, shows and displays
b) Software costs for technology adoption
Overseas exhibition/show costs
a) a) These may include overseas hotel accommodation allowance (no more than three stars) and base airfare (economy class) for lead person of project, freightage and insurance costs
 
Brochure and collateral development
a) These may include design and production of brochures and collaterals
b) Collaterals can include VCDs, DVDs, CD-ROMs and internet websites
 



However, there are some costs which will not be funded under the scheme. Some of the costs that do not qualify include:

a) Projects which have commenced prior to the application
b) Fundraising events
c) Operational costs such as rental of venue, utility bills (air-conditioning, electricity, etc), correspondence costs (telephone and facsimile charges, stamps, etc)
d) Infrastructural development including refurbishment of buildings and spaces
e) Major capital expenditure including office equipment
f) Manpower costs such as staff salaries and claims
g) In-house costs

NHB reserves the right to accept or reject proposals submitted. Where necessary, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. All decisions made on proposals are final.



HI2P grant will be disbursed on a reimbursement basis. The applying organisation would be required to fulfil stipulated conditions before partial or full amount of grant would be reimbursed by cheque. The applying organisation must make the claims within six months of the end of the qualifying period.
